For use with TXT-a-Park™ pay-and-display parking meters in New Zealand that allow you to send a code by SMS TXT message to the number 7275 (PARK) to pay for your parking. The system is found in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and other regions of New Zealand.
The application will work with any TXT-to-pay service which involves sending a 5-digit code to the local SMS number #7275 (PARK).
HOW TO USE THE APP
When parking, select the TXT-a-Park™ (or equivalent) payment option on the meter. Use this application to enter the code for the amount of time you wish to park. Then hit SEND.
On your iPhone you then simply confirm the message to be sent. Press OK on the parking meter when asked to confirm the code sent.
Its as easy as that !
WHAT DOES IT COST ?
SMS messages are sent using your normal mobile SMS service provider. The usual service charges may apply in addition to parking costs and service charges determined as applicable by the parking service provider.
No other payment is involved in using this app.
WHAT ELSE IS IT DOING ?
Apart from sending the entered code to the 7275 SMS number no information is sent to any other party. SMS messages sent using this application may be recorded in your out-going SMS log by your phone, but this is not the result of any specific action by the application.
Other than to the extent necessary when sending TXT messages or serving ads, no information is read or stored on your device or elsewhere by this application.
This free version of the app is supported by advertising. If you prefer, there is a modestly priced paid-for version which does not include this advertising.
